Associated Festival: Field Day this Saturday at London’s Victoria Park

It’s almost that time of year again, with our associated festival Field Day, taking place this weekend in London’s Victoria Park! With such an incredible line-up as always, this year set to be another fun day (in the sun, hopefully!), for those lucky enough to be taking the trip to our capital city this Saturday.

Head over to the Field Day Facebook page for further details and announcements.

Babeshadow, Tail Feather and Nadine Shah – live on Saturday 8th June

BBC Introducing Live presents Bloom and The Jettes – live on Wednesday 26th June

Bloom are to music, as to a giraffe is to a weed; or a potato peeler is to a kitchen; a risky manoeuvre is to a packet of peanuts. The Jettes don’t take no shit off no one, you here. Still bruised and bittered (contrary to popular belief), they will avenge the death of Tony one of these days…just you wait.

Club.The.Mammoth presents MT Wolf – live on Saturday 22nd June

“Opening the gates for ‘dreamfolk’, Mt. Wolf emerged this year with their ‘Life Size Ghosts’ debut that set critics eulogising their psych flavoured, trippy folkish-electronica sound. Sigur Rós-like ethereal soundscapes and sensual vocals spread over four-minute-plus opuses make for one big intoxicating aural bliss-out from this London-based quartet.” – Clash

Monkeysuit presents Babeshadow, Tail Feather and Nadine Shah – Saturday 9th June

London-based Babeshadow is the ongoing musical project of childhood best friends Tom Cawte and David Thornley. The duo have played the Festival circuit, supported Florence and the Machine on tour, recorded at Maida Vale, been snapped by world famous photographer Rankin, performed on BBC TV plus have a host of influential DJs including Steve Lamacq and Rob Da Bank as fans.
